Colt 1851 Navy C Series
1. For sale is a beautiful 2nd generation Colt 1851 made in 1971. This is a C Series Colt, and one of 5000 made as a Ulysses S Grant commemorative. It is a .36 caliber pistol.
These early 70's 1851's are the first made by Colt since they ceased production of the 'Navy' pistol in the 1870's.
Original finish on grips, fantastic case coloring on frame and hammer, factory silver plated backstrap and trigger guard are tarnished but in VG condition. The Colt royal blue finish is also outstanding. Screw heads are also royal blue and appear to be unturned. Overall, this is a collector grade commemorative and has not been fired by me or the prior owner. He stated that he only turned the cylinder at half cock to be able to expose the matching serial number. It remains in that position, unturned by me.
The only things I see on this that would keep it from being pristine are:
Slight thinning of the stock finish at the top by frame, both sides. A very slight and short scratch on the barrel flat, left side. Its so thin and small, that you have to catch it in the light to see it. Some small handling marks on right side barrel by the wedge. Honestly, these appear to be tiny defects in the manufacturing as the blueing is not impacted by them. I'll let you decide.
All of these are very minor in my opinion, and I rate this gun VG/Fine condition, but it is 45 years old and is not new in the box.

Colt 1851 Navy C: Series.36 cal.7 12 inch Octagon Barrel.Hanged Loading Lever.Six-shot Cylinder with Roll Engraved Naval B for sale by Blue Robin Guns on. Then get yourself an original C-Series 1851 Navy with the square back trigger guard or an F-Series 1860 Army. There is no comparison between holding these two and an Italian repro and I have some repros that suit me just fine. The Colt Royal Blue bluing on the Navy must be seen to be admired, it's beautiful and without comparison.

Alright, so, I've been trying to work with some water mods and I don't seem. Also, what's odd is that I have Skyrim HD 2K Textures installed, but. And to top it off, it has its own ENB texture files for ENB Series (Realvision etc).
