Tried and liked the Microsoft Explorer Mouse so I bought it to replace the Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 that came with my set. The dongle that came.

Ran into a situation with a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 that also seems to plague the Wireless Laser Mouse 8000. When placing the Laser Mouse on its charging cradle, the LED on the top of the mouse slowly flashes green for a few seconds, as if it was successfully charging the NiMH battery inside, but then switches to rapidly flashing the LED red. The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 is comprised of a Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard and a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse. (Note: The keyboard and mouse use a single USB receiver, so the two devices cannot be used independently of each other.) The keyboard supports enhanced function keys enabling the user to execute commands.
