For the longest time, I have had a pre CK created Follower that I was able to order into a set of power armor, but had no way of getting him back out. I tried everything from stripping all of his items (No Fusion Core ever appeared), to trying console commands, but nothing worked. So I created this mod. With this gun, you can safely shoot it at anything without it becoming hostile, as the gun does no damage, it simply ejects people from power armor. You can use it on friends or enemies, and the effect is the same. I shot Trash Can Carla like 40 times and she never turned hostile (just don't use vats on a friendly mortal target if you have mysterious stranger perk, he does not know you weren't trying to kill, and may show up to finish the job).
QA:
Q) Why cant I seem to kill anything with this gun?
A) This gun was not meant for killing, just removing people from power armor.
Q) Can I use it on Paladin Danse to get him out of his Power Armor?
A) Yes you can, he wont even be mad about it.
Q) If used on a hostile target, wont they just get back into their power armor?
A) Apparently not. I used it to assault the Prydwyn (SP) and the Brotherhood members just shot me from outside the armor, after several minutes they did start getting back in, but at least you have a little bit to prevent this.
Q) Can I use this to steal Power Armor? Will the Armor become mine?
A) While you can use this to steal Power Armor, it will not effect the ownership of the power armor, so will remain the property of whomever it initially belonged to, entering the armor, or taking any parts off will still be seen as stealing.
Q) What kind of ammo does it use?
A) The item was cloned off of the Alien Blaster, and has all the mods that come with that weapon, as such, it initially uses Alien Blaster rounds, but can be upgraded to use Power Cells at the weapons Workbench.
Q) How do I get it?
A) Craft it at the Chemistry Workbench, under one of the Utility sections.
Q) I just started a new game, and can craft the gun, but have no ammo, How do I get Ammo?
A) I consider this gun to be a bit of a cheat, to balance this, I have made it so you will either have to level up to the point where you can mod the gun to use Power Cells (what standard laser guns use), or wait until the alien shows up and kill him to get the Alien Blaster, and it's ammo.
Q) Who is it that you kicked out of the power armor in your screenshots?
A) That is Dimitry Klokov from the Companion DimitryKlokov by PhantomPuck mod.
Q) Any Bugs, or known problems?
A) For some reason, Vats-ing a target is all that is needed for the effect to kick in, I have seen the round soar past people and they still get out, a free fired shot has to hit to work though. No other known bugs exist.

So, since the 'real thing' dropped, I haven't played much of Fallout Shelter in the past few weeks. I fired it up once after launch to know Piper is a potential dweller and that the living quarters decor had shifted from Halloween to a festive Thanksgiving motif. Then, just again today, to not only see Christmas trimmings (in and out, as giant chunks of radioactive snow gently fall outside my vault door), but a few new changes to the gameplay.
First being pets. Yay! We get pets! So naturally, what does my first 'free' pet land me? A goddamn cat. :/ I'm not a cat person.
Second, of course, leads to more ways to feel like an asshole: evictions. So there's still this 200 dweller limit, and, I figure, it's better than just stripping down an unneccessary dweller and sending them off to their eventual demise, right? Nope. At least that way, they'll blindly run off to their doom with a big ass smile on their face. An eviction makes that dweller instantly sad, grab a valise, and do a slow, plodding walk of shame to and out the vault door. And you can't change your mind. Once you hit the eject button, they're done. No take backs.
Guy I just kicked out vowed I'd 'rue the day' I kicked him out. I'm already ruing, as my brain instantly imagined this guy coming back as a raider, and getting slaughtered, and all the vaultlings that were sharing a living space will have to swiss cheese the guy with all the OP weaponry my first line of defense has going, just because he wants revenge for me expelling him.
The vaults were never designed to help people.
